Parents are more worried about their children joining gangs and loitering on street corners. There is the belief that there is nothing out there for them! Something I hear to often is this “Its not like it used to be where you could go places and do stuff…”
As a community we can stamp all the above issues out!
By joining the Kane Academy in either a fitness (Non contact class) or one of our various martial arts classes people will be motivated to shed those pounds!
It has been proven that exercise can rapidly reduce stress levels.
The Kane Academy provides an alternative for children. Parents can feel safe that their young and older ones are going SOMEWHERE and DOING something that will have POSITIVE benefits on their lives and the people around them.

What does Sifu say?
“To me being a martial arts instructor is a calling in life. Money is necessary as there are large overheads and running costs needed to run any club and group. (Just look at all the parent and toddlers groups and drama groups that have closed due to lack of funds) I believe that my main duty as a martial arts instructor is to motivate people and help them achieve fitness and martial art goals. I set my fees at affordable rates based on the type of class so that my club is accessible to people from all walks of life and thusly bring people from all sectors of the community together. “ Sifu Rebecca Kane

Has also trained in Fencing, and Kickboxing. Achievements: 1st world Invitational championships 2005 Manila Philippines quarter final round win; 2006 Doce Pares World Championships Men’s Form Silver medallist, Men’s Middle weight 4th Place; 2006 World Arnis Alliance British low armour Stick Championships, Men’s Form Bronze Medallist, Men’s Open Weight Silver Medallist. Qualifier for 2006 World Arnis Alliance Championships Manila Philippines.
