Eskrima / Filipino Stick Fighting

As the name states what students will learn is Practical fighting skills. Everything taught to students has a practical application and purpose.There is a learning structure over this style and a ranking system for grading.

Grading is promoted to students training at the Academy as it is an excellent way to measure improvement over time and ensures that students put in an adequate amount of practice from week to week, month to month and year to year.

In the Filipino Arts you learn to apply moves and combine them in and out of our basic drills for example Hubud which is an entry drill. You could study these basic drills for over 10 years and still keep learnning new things.

You don’t have to be big and strong to be able to master this system. It is ideal for everyone of all ages and skill levels.
